"The Barn"

"The Barn", has been converted from a traditional Welsh stone building into a lovely cottage for four. There is a paved patio with table and chairs for outdoor meals and a safe garden for children at the rear.  Every convenience has been thought of to make for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. There is a table for four in the kitchen which is well equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The sitting room is a spacious comfortable room with night storage heating and a dining area.

The Ground Floor accommodation would suit those who prefer to avoid climbing stairs as its comprehensive layout comprises:-

  • The comfortable sitting room, with dining area, looks out either through the attractive French Doors or the pretty deep window, over the patio, garden and the fields of the Eisteddfa Estate towards the sea at Criccieth (glimpses).

  • a double bedroom with a small wardrobe, bedside cabinets, drawer chest and a chair
a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast table,  electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, and lovely views.
  • a pine trimmed bathroom with an electric shower over the bath, pedestal basin and a WC. .

Upstairs is the attractive and spacious twin bedroom which features original beams, pine ceiling and has views. There is a wardrobe, bedside tables and a drawer chest.

Outside is a paved area with a table and chairs for sitting and reading, enjoying a barbecue or just soaking up the fabulous panoramic views and enjoying the garden.

Behind the cottage is a safe lawned area for children to play and access to the car parking area

General The Barn has been under our ownership since June 2002. The beds in the twin room have lovely pine bases and quality mattresses, and a luxurious divan with pine headboard is in the double room.  We have also put in a new bathroom and kitchen, double glazing, carpets, replaced most of the white goods and re-decorate regularly. Bed linen is provided.

There are many little homely touches, making an ideal base from which to explore the Lleyn Peninsula and North Wales and, in its pretty tranquil setting, perfect for a relaxing break - even to sit and do nothing but enjoy the panoramic views.
